Caffeine Enhances Memory in Young Adults During Their Non-Optimal Time of Day
We discovered that young adults had better memory in the morning after ingesting caffeine. We found that caffeine was only beneficial in the morning since young adults are at their non-optimal time of the day. Surprisingly, young adults did not show any benefit in memory performance after morning exercise. These results suggest that caffeine has a specific benefit for memory during students’ non-optimal time of day – early morning.
